Launching an online sales channel

I built and launched an online store, coordinating teams across the business to connect online sales with fulfilment and customer support.

Six-figure

Online sales and 200+ marketing-qualified leads.

My role
Director & Chief of Staff to the CEO
My responsibility
Build the store, lead its integration with business systems and coordinate the teams needed to launch.

The challenge

The company needed a direct online sales channel for its AI hardware. Customers needed a way to choose and buy products, and the business needed the systems and processes to fulfil those orders.

The store was being built while the company was also developing its ERP system and establishing inventory management, warehousing and delivery processes. Getting it live meant coordinating technology and operations that were changing in parallel.

What I owned and delivered

I built the online store and led the work to connect it to the company’s ERP system. This involved working through how online orders would link to inventory, warehousing and delivery.

I coordinated product, operations, finance and marketing to resolve dependencies and prepare for launch.

I worked with sales to hand over leads generated by the store, and with developer relations and the newly forming customer success function to get the channel ready for customers. My responsibility covered the store and the teams, systems and processes needed to operate it.

What changed

The store generated six-figure online sales and more than 200 marketing-qualified leads. The company gained a direct route to customers, connected to the operations needed to fulfil their orders.
